Batch convert PDF to tiff
I have over 200 pdf files that I need to batch convert to tiff formate. From what I've gathered, this can be done simply using Ghostscript. Unfortunately, I have no experience running GS as a command line program, and only installed it as part of Gimp. Does anyone know of a tool for gimp that could do this? Would somebody be willing to walk me, step by step, through the process of using GS to perform this task?

RE: Batch convert PDF to tiff
Use ImageMagick's convert utility. Also a command line program, but as simple as
convert file.pdf file.tif
... several orders of magnitude faster than Gimp. Running command line programs isn't black magic. It's just an investment in manpower. Once you can do something on one file, you can do it on 10000 files in the same amount of labor for you (not for the computer, of course).
