Anyone has an idea how to isolate this shape?
So today I've run into a problem I can't solve. I want to isolate a shape from the background of an image. Usually I can do it easily with color parameters, I play with contrasts and other stuff and I end up succeeding. But this time the shape I want has many colors and that in some places are the same as the background.

heres the picture

I want to extract just the lines and shapes of the flowers and stems from the background in order to use in afterward with a color of my choice and a background color of my choice.

Anyone has an idea??

thanks

Try "Colors > Threshold"

But without a proper link to the image, we can't test the photo in Gimp to offer a better

All I can guess is its the image on the homepage of the link you posted, so please fix.
