Anti Erase Help!
I've used anti erase before, but now I've ran into a problem. When I use the anti erase only some small portions I erase come back, the majority of it is just black. Please help!!!

RE: Anti Erase Help!
In Gimp, "erasing" is just making pixels transparent by setting their alpha channel to 0. Anti-erase is only setting the alpha-channel to one instead, so if the rest of the channels hasn't been changed, you get back your original pixel (minus the transparency...). Use the Pointer dialog to see the actual RGBA values for the pixels before you anti-erase them.

Btw, instead of using erase/anti-erase, use a layer mask.... it is the same thing (editing the alpha channel) but is much more flexible and powerful.
