Adding images\patterns into text."NO LAYER MASKS"
1)Open your desired image\pattern into gimp.
2)Add an alpha channel if it isnt present.
[Image: 1.png]

3)Add some desired text.
[Image: 2.png]

4)Place the text layer below the image layer.
5)Select the text layer and click on "alpha to selection".
6)Then go to "select" "invert".
7)Now select the image layer and press delete.
