Add photo to cut image help!!
Hi all I hope someone can help, i have taken a photo of a car mirror which has the camera in the shot, I want to keep the shape of the wing mirror but replace the reflection with clouds. After scrolling through many you tube videos I can only find cutting selected image and pasting onto a different background, all I need is a white background the shape of the mirrors edge and clouds as reflection within the mirrors edge, can this be done. PLEASE HELP !!!!!
Thanks in advance

RE: Add photo to cut image help!!
Thank you for your fast reply! I will have a go in the morning and report back! One more thing I forgot to mention is to put an out line around the outside of the mirror glass just to make the shape more solid, not a huge line just enough to make the shape more clear in case the white back ground bleeds into the clouds, any further advice welcomed. Thanks again look forward to your advice.

RE: Add photo to cut image help!!
Thank you again for great advice, it worked! One more thing, the edge I have created using the line tool has highlighted all of the minor faults when using free select is there a way to soften the out side line so it looks more smooth. I tried intelligent scissors to achieve a smother cut but due to the glass not having a crisp edge it tends to be a wavey cut, even with interactive boundary selected?

Then the mirror edges are as sharp a as T-Rex tooth:
I have been having a play for a while now, I am editing photos of mirrors as said which are needed for close shots, I have tried the various cutting tools and found free select is the best, the problem is it only creates straight cuts, when zoomed in you can see the cut lines caused by free select, is there a way to round of each cut so the outline flows smoother ? I have tried path editor aswell however it does not follow the shape of the mirrors the way I need it to.
Thank you again for your advice so far and look forward to your responses !
