A mind-blowing way to reduce grainy-ness (well, it blew my mind).

I have an image that had some grainy-ness (for lack of a better name for it), & I found out on accident how to reduce it by using something that I never expected to do that. I was editing the image, & I decided to use "frosted glass" on it, just to see what it would look like. I made the maximum scatter radius = 3, the minimum scatter radius = 0, & maxed out the smoothness, & the result was dramatic.

Here is a link to the exact image that I did this to before I did this, so that you can confirm the effect for yourselves.
