Full Version: Distressing an image

Question, I tried distressing an image. The problem is, the distressed image always comes across in "black"! The other problem is, I don't want "black", I want "white"! Would even be better if the distressed imagery came across multi colored, such as "white, grey, and slightly dark..if such is possible.

Also, is there a way to make an image look somewhat aged and weathered, by giving it a "wind torn" effect. Like parts of the image is partially ripped away, but still attached.

If there is such advise out there, or a link(s) to tutorials, I would sure appreciate it. Thanks!
